The Pop Star Embraces a Hell Version of Her Own Identity in Satirical Film First Look

The celebrated musician is getting ready for a significant big screen presence in 2026, starting with the mockumentary titled The Moment.

Throughout the movie, the artist embodies what she refers to as a dark version of her own persona.

It’s the realest depiction of the music industry that I’ve ever seen, the performer commented.

She further explained in a discussion: It’s not a tour documentary, however the inspiration came from the expectation to produce one.

A Glimpse into The Film

The first teaser, released on Thursday, mixes real clips from her live performances with made-up behind-the-scenes moments.

The Moment is overseen and co-authored by Aidan Zamiri, who shared that the plot focuses on a scenario where Charli made entirely different choices throughout the publicity of her chart-topping release Brat.

A Hectic Film Calendar

The mockumentary is just one of many upcoming film appearances for the musician, who recently starred in three cinematic festival entries this year.

  1. Personal narrative Erupcja
  2. Satirical comedy thriller Sacrifice
  3. LGBTQ+ fantasy 100 Nights of Hero

Additionally appeared as herself in the humorous show Overcompensating.

Future Ventures

The following year will also feature Charli together with Olivia Wilde in erotic drama I Want Your Sex, Natalie Portman in gallery suspense The Gallerist, and Barbie Ferreira in terror reimagining Faces of Death.

She recently joined to star in the actress’s directorial debut A Tree in Blue.

I’m deeply appreciating my foray into acting, she stated. I feel very, very inspired at the moment in acting, and I solely aim to pursue projects that excite me.

Soundtrack Involvement

The month of February will also bring the release of the filmmaker’s interpretation of Wuthering Heights, which will include new music from the artist.

She is also set to create the soundtrack for the drama Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, planned for launch in the coming year.

The mockumentary is scheduled to debut on 30 January.
